Step 1: Submission of a concept paper
The first step in applying for a grant is the submission of a 2-page concept paper. There are no deadlines for submissions. As concept papers are received, they are screened according to the Fund's general guidelines. Projects that fit within the Fund's guidelines are forwarded to the Executive Committee for concept review. The Executive Committee determines the compatibility of the proposed research idea with the Fund's current research interests and priorities. If a project is determined to be outside the current purview of the Fund, the applicant will be notified promptly.
